One person was detained following a domestic dispute in Sesser late Monday afternoon that brought several law enforcement agencies to the scene.
Officers from the Sesser Police Department, Illinois State Police, Franklin County Sheriff’s Office and Zeigler Police Department responded to the area of South Locust and West Matthew streets.
According to reports, at least one person was barricaded inside a residence while officers were at the scene.
One person was eventually taken into custody and placed in a patrol vehicle.
No injuries have been reported, and additional details about the incident have not yet been released.
