Multiple emergency agencies responded Thursday to a multi-vehicle crash involving a school bus on Illinois Route 37 in Jefferson County.
The crash occurred north of Bonnie near County Road 700 North, also known as Game Farm Road.
No serious injuries have been reported. It has not been confirmed whether students were aboard the bus when the crash occurred. A second school bus was brought to the scene to transport anyone who may have been on the first bus.
One lane of Illinois 37 was closed while emergency crews continue clearing the scene.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
