An art exhibit featuring the work of local artist Polly Launay will be held Saturday, August 29, from noon to 3 p.m. at the Schweinfurth Museum in the Jefferson County Historical Village in Mt. Vernon.
Launay, well known locally for her musical talents, will showcase her paintings, with several pieces available for purchase.
Admission is free, and dessert will be served. Visitors will also be able to tour the Historical Village during the event.
The Jefferson County Historical Village is located at 1411 North 27th Street in Mt. Vernon.
