Wabash General Hospital is launching a new monthly support group for women affected by breast cancer.
The group is open to women who have been diagnosed with breast cancer, are undergoing treatment or are breast cancer survivors.
Hospital officials say the meetings will give participants an opportunity to connect with others who understand the breast cancer experience, share encouragement and build a supportive community.
The first meeting will be held Tuesday, Oct. 20, at 6 p.m. in the classroom at Wabash General Hospital. The group will then meet at 6 p.m. on the third Tuesday of each month.
Women from Mt. Carmel and surrounding communities are invited to participate.
