HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL:

Fairfield 16, Red Hill 12

The Fairfield Mules managed to pull out the win Friday night against The Red Hill Salukis with a 3rd Quarter touchdown from Cooper Berg that gave the Mules their first lead since early in the 1st Quarter. Even though the game was marred by 3 turnovers from the Mules, their strong running game let them control the clock, pushing them to the 16-12 victory.

Fairfield was led by Cooper Berg with 96 rushing yards and 1 touchdown and the Vaughan’s Tire Offensive Player of the Game Grant Otey who had 82 yards and a touchdown. On Defense, the Mules were led by Potts Family Pharmacy Defensive Player of the Game Austin Grieve who had 3 tackles and an interception, Aiden King who had 6 tackles and 1 ½ sacks, and Clinton Odell who had 7 tackles.

The Mules will be back in action next Friday at the Trainyard versus Eldorado
