Entries are now being accepted for the 37th Annual Bean Days Quilt Show, scheduled for Saturday, September 26th in Wayne City.
The show will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Baptist Church Fellowship Hall on East Meadow Street. Organizers say approximately 50 quilts can be displayed, with quilts hung at full length for viewing.
Those interested in entering a quilt can register by calling or texting Darla Green at 618-895-4004. Entries may also be submitted by email to darlag.barnards@gmail.com or mailed to Quilt Show 2026, P.O. Box 316, Wayne City, IL 62895. Information should include the entrant’s contact information, quilt measurements and a brief description of the quilt.
Quilts may also be brought to SSM Health Medical Group on Route 15 West in Wayne City on September 10 or 17 between 1:30 and 5 p.m., where a photograph of the quilt will be taken.
The registration deadline is September 20. Pre-registered quilts should be delivered to SSM Health Medical Group on Thursday, September 24, unless other arrangements have been made.
