A Geff man was sentenced to four years in the Illinois Department of Corrections Tuesday after admitting to violating probation.
35-year-old Cody R. Buchanan appeared before Judge Denton Aud in Wayne County Circuit Court.
Buchanan had previously been placed on probation for possession of methamphetamine stemming from a December 2024 offense.
After admitting to violating the terms of his probation, Buchanan was sentenced to four years in state prison.
He received credit for 99 days previously served in the Wayne County Jail.
