The Edwards County Farm Bureau Foundation has donated tools and equipment to support new vocational classes at Edwards County High School.
The district is expanding its trades education offerings with classes in HVAC, electrical work and construction taught by Michael Snidle.
To help launch the programs, the Farm Bureau Foundation donated equipment that can be used for multiple years. Items included breaker boxes, fish tape, conduit benders, tool belts, routers, nailers and a miter saw.
Additional consumable materials are still needed for the classes, including electrical wire, conduit and lumber.
Individuals, businesses or organizations interested in donating materials or helping purchase supplies can contact Snidle at Edwards County High School.
