The Wayne County Farm Bureau is expanding its support of local FFA students with a new grant program for Supervised Agricultural Experience Entrepreneurship projects.
The Farm Bureau will award six $1,000 grants, with two students selected from each of Wayne County’s three high school FFA chapters — Cisne, Fairfield and Wayne City.
The program is designed to help students develop SAE entrepreneurship projects while strengthening career readiness, leadership skills and hands-on agricultural experience.
Applications are due September 10th. Applicants will be contacted for an in-person interview with a panel of Farm Bureau directors, with grant recipients scheduled to be announced by September 30th.
