Connie Sue (Harris) Butler, 75, of Fairfield was welcomed into Heaven on September 8, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on April 2, 1951, to Gene and Doris (Keen) Harris. Connie graduated from Plainfield High School. She married Ronald Butler on June 28, 1969. They had two children, Donna Lynn Foreman and William Harris Butler.
Connie was a country western musician from a young age. She was an artist, loved crafts, playing guitar, and riding motorcycles. Her greatest joy was her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Most of all, she was an avid member of Union North CP Church in Fairfield.
Connie is survived by her children, Donna (Thomas) Foreman, and William (Kathleen) Butler, both of Fairfield; grandchildren, Kalee Parsley, Avery Vladimiri, Connie Foreman, Mary Foreman, and Hanna Rose Butler; great grandchildren, Taryn Tarrant, Jack Tarrant, and Delilah Tarrant; sisters, Joann (Bill) Hayes, and Teresa Harris; brother, Jim (Brenda) Harris; sister in law, Janice Harris; several beloved nieces and nephews also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Gene and Doris Harris; husband, Ronald Butler; sister, Jean (Dave) Alstott; brother, Jack Harris; and six loving grandparents.
Funeral Services will be held at 3PM on Friday September 11, 2026, at Union North CP Church east of Fairfield with burial in Union Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1PM until the time of service at the church.
