Motorists in downtown Fairfield should be prepared for street closures and detours as preparations begin for the annual Fall Fun Fest.
The City of Fairfield says street closures and detours will be put into place beginning at 5 p.m. Today (Tuesday).
The closures will allow organizers time to prepare the downtown area for Fall Fun Fest activities.
Drivers traveling through downtown Fairfield are encouraged to watch for posted detours and use caution around the festival area.
