Two Fairfield residents were arrested in separate incidents in White County late last week.
62-year-old Jerry B. Beeson of Fairfield was arrested Thursday, September 10th on a White County failure-to-appear warrant stemming from a previous conviction for driving on a revoked license.
Court records indicate Beeson had missed two court appearances and had not made payments toward court-ordered fines, fees and costs. A warrant was issued August 10th and Beeson was taken into custody Thursday evening and jailed pending a court appearance.
54-year-old Sherlyn M. Lee of Fairfield was arrested following a traffic stop in Carmi shortly before 10:30 Friday night.
Carmi Police stopped Lee on Church Street and cited her for alleged possession of methamphetamine, unlawful use of property, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Lee was also cited for driving on a suspended license related to mandatory insurance.
She was transported to the White County Jail in Carmi.
