By Mark Wells Sep 15, 2026 | 11:51 AM

Ford is recalling approximately 223,500 vehicles because of a potential problem involving improperly secured fuel tanks.

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the fuel tanks may not be fully secured, which could result in a fuel leak and increase the risk of a fire.

The recall affects certain 2023 through 2027 Ford F-150 pickup trucks.

Owners of affected vehicles will be instructed to take their trucks to a Ford dealership for inspection. Any necessary repairs or replacement parts will be provided at no charge.
