Southern rock will take center stage at the Harris Pavilion in Mt. Carmel later this month as LynSkynyrd, a Lynyrd Skynyrd tribute band, performs as part of the Music at the Park concert series.
The free concert is scheduled for Saturday, September 26, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Harris Pavilion at Merchants Park in Uptown Mt. Carmel.
LynSkynyrd will perform a set featuring Lynyrd Skynyrd classics including “Simple Man,” “Sweet Home Alabama” and a 14-minute live version of “Free Bird,” along with several deeper cuts from the band’s catalog.
The outdoor concert is a lawn-chair event. Food trucks are expected to begin serving at 5 p.m.
Music at the Park is a free concert series offered at the Harris Pavilion for the community.
