VANDALIA TOURNAMENT:
The Fairfield Lady Mules brought home the championship Saturday at the 32nd Annual Vandalia Volleyball Tournament, going a perfect 4-0 on the day to improve to 17-5 on the season.
Fairfield dominated pool play, winning all three matches in straight sets.
The Lady Mules opened with a 25-10, 25-17 win over North Clay, followed by a 25-10, 25-19 victory over host Vandalia, and closed out pool play with a 25-18, 25-17 win over Carlyle.
That set up a championship showdown with Salem. Fairfield dropped a tight first set 26-24 but responded strong to take the next two 25-14 and 25-21 to win the match 2-1 and claim the tournament title.

2nd Place – Salem
3rd Place – Carlyle
4th Place – Hillsboro
The Lady Mules return to action Tuesday night at home in The Mule Barn against Hamilton County. First game starts at 5 p.m.
CISNE LADY LION VOLLEYBALL BASH TOURNAMENT:
On Saturday, the Cisne Lady Lions held their 1st Annual Lady Lion Volleyball Bash Round Robin Tournament. The host Lady Lions won the tournament with victories over Dietrich in 3 Sets, Christ Our Rock Lutheran in 2 Sets, and Christopher in 2 Sets.
HIGH SCHOOL CROSS COUNTRY:
The Fairfield Mules and Lady Mules Cross Country teams were in action Saturday at the Olney Invitational at Olney Central College. The Mules Boys team finished 2nd overall with Kanyen Lingafelter-8th, Ashton King-11th, Skylar Bladel-15th, Treyton Lewis-17th, and Kendall Diesel-42nd.
The Lady Mules team finished 4th overall with Emeri Sager-4th, Ellanie Vanway-24th, Gabby Zurliene-27th, Brianna Meeks-34th, and Nela Segitova-35th
