The Wayne City Bean Days Rodeo has been canceled due to unforeseen circumstances, but horse enthusiasts will still have an opportunity to enjoy an event Saturday evening.
The Wayne City Saddle Club will hold a Fun Show beginning at 6 p.m. Saturday, September 26, at the club grounds, 601 County Road 400 North in Wayne City. Admission for spectators is free.
Events will include keyhole, poles, flags, barrels, Pony Express, Coke Race, horse soccer, horse musical chairs, goat tying and trail competition. Classes will be offered for ages 13 and under and ages 14 and over.
Entry fees are $2 per class and $5 for goat tying. Participants must be Wayne City Saddle Club members, with one-day memberships available for $5. Current negative Coggins documentation is required for horses participating in the show.
Concessions will also be available.
