The North Wayne Community Unit School District #200 Board of Education will meet Wednesday evening at Cisne Middle School, with a possible referendum for a building project among the major items on the agenda.
A budget hearing will begin at 5:50 p.m. Board members will discuss the district’s 2026-27 budget and are scheduled to vote on its approval.
The regular meeting will follow at 6 p.m.
Under old business, the board will discuss and consider placing a referendum on the spring ballot for a building project. Board members will also review district budget projections.
Other action items include consideration of the district’s FY26 Administrator and Teacher Salary and Benefits Report and the FY27 School Maintenance Grant project. The board will also discuss replacing AED machines.
Krista with Kemper is scheduled to present the district audit, with the board expected to consider action following the presentation.
As part of the consent agenda, the board will consider accepting the resignation of Sonia Allen as Cisne Middle School cafeteria assistant, along with personal leave and dock-day requests.
An executive session may also be held to discuss personnel and other matters.
