The Wayne County Health Department will hold an adult flu vaccination clinic next month at Fairfield City Hall.
The clinic is scheduled for Tuesday, October 13th from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m.
Flu shots will cost $30 for those paying out of pocket. The health department also accepts a number of insurance plans, including Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Coventry, Harmony, HealthLink, Health Alliance, Humana, Illinois Medicaid, Medicare Parts B and D, Meridian, Molina, Multiplan and UnitedHealthcare.
Health department officials note that the flu vaccine being offered will contain protection against the influenza strains projected to be active during the upcoming flu season.
