Work continues at Interstate 64 at Grayville over the Wabash River bridges.
The eastbound ramp is closed from now through Monday, October 5th.
Oversize and overweight permits will also not be allowed through the affected area during the closure periods.
The restrictions are part of the ongoing $136 million project to replace the twin I-64 bridges over the Wabash River south of Grayville.
The former westbound bridge has already been demolished, with eastbound and westbound traffic currently sharing the remaining bridge under a two-way traffic configuration.
Lunda Construction of Wisconsin is the contractor for the project, which includes construction of approximately 8,339 feet of new roadway.
The overall bridge replacement project is expected to continue through 2028.
