HIGH SCHOOL VOLLEYBALL:
The Fairfield Lady Mules swept Mt. Carmel Monday night at the Mule Barn in non-conference volleyball action, with Fairfield winning at all three levels. In the freshman match, Fairfield defeated Mt. Carmel 25-18 and 25-13 to earn the two-set victory. The Lady Mules also swept the junior varsity match, winning 25-10 and 25-23. At the varsity level, Fairfield controlled the match with a 25-16 win in the opening set before closing out the sweep with a 25-10 victory in the second set. The Lady Mules varsity improves to 20-5 overall on the season.

On Monday, the Lady Mules Tennis team faced off with Herrin at the Lakeside Tennis Courts and came away with a 5-4 victory. The Lady Mules picked up Singles wins from Marlee Richards, Kenry Hutchcraft, and Emily Vaughan. Fairfield picked up Doubles wins from the teams of Marlee Richards and Kenry Hutchcraft and Emily Vaughan and Malori Simpson.
HIGH SCHOOL JV GOLF:
The Mules Boys JV Golf team was in action in a 4-way meet at home on Monday. Notable results for the Mules were Laython Craft-9th with a 46 and Jase Middleton-12th with a 47.

(New York, NY) — New York Giants coach John Harbaugh is confirming the team has signed on former Viking’s quarterback JJ McCarthy. The G-Men traded a fifth-round pick to Minnesota in order to acquire McCarthy after Jaxson Dart suffered a season-ending knee injury. It comes as the Giants confirmed defensive player Brian Burns will also be out for the rest of the season due to a torn ACL.
