A Fairfield man was arrested Monday for allegedly failing to comply with Illinois sex offender registration requirements.
51-year-old Franklin Ross Price was taken into custody September 28 by Fairfield City Police on a charge of failure to register as a sex offender as required by the Illinois Sex Offender Registration Act.
Price is subject to registration requirements stemming from a previous Jefferson County conviction for aggravated criminal sexual abuse. Court information indicates Price was 32 at the time of the offense and the victim was under the age of 13.
Following a court appearance, Price was released pending further court proceedings.
