The Wine & Art Festival at Rend Lake will return this weekend with two days of wine, live music, food, shopping and vendors.
The festival will be held at the Rend Lake Event Center, 14967 Gun Creek Trail in Whittington, located off Exit 77 on Interstate 57.
Saturday’s festival hours will be 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., while Sunday’s event will run from noon to 5 p.m.
Admission is $10 and cash only. Guests must be 21 or older to sample wine, although those under 21 are welcome to attend.
The event will feature a wide variety of vendors offering handmade items, food products, artwork, jewelry, crafts and other specialty goods. Vendors scheduled to participate include Betty Ellen’s General Store, Copperhead Forge, Doughbby House Bakery, Flabby Daddy Dips, Frostbite Treats, Maple Moon, Nature Transformed, Scarbrough Farm-Boozy Bee, Vintage Young’Un, Wheebees Apiary and several others.
Festival-goers can also enjoy live music, food and wine while browsing the vendor displays throughout the weekend.
