Quinton Hutcheson, 61, of Fairfield, passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2026 at his brother’s home in Rockport, Indiana. He was born December 9, 1964 in Fairfield, IL to Earl Hutcheson, Sr. and the late Sharon K. (Toombs) Hutcheson.
Quinton was a true outdoorsman who lived life as a real cowboy, horseback riding, camping and fishing. He was fascinated with Indian culture and enjoyed hunting for relics. Quinton treasured the time he spent with his family, especially his many nieces and nephews, who truly loved their very special uncle.
Quinton is survived by his father, Earl Hutcheson Sr.; brothers, Scott (Shari) Hutcheson and Earl (Gayla) Hutcheson Jr.; sister, Taresa Kay Griffith; 20 nieces and nephews; and 18 great-nieces and great-nephews.
In addition to his mother, Sharon (Toombs) Hutcheson, Quinton was preceded in death by his brother, Brady Hutcheson.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Saturday, October 17, 2026 at Buckeye Cemetery in Geff, Illinois. Graveside service will begin at noon at the cemetery with his brother, Pastor Scott Hutcheson, officiating.
