The Illinois Department of Transportation has announced that the northbound Interstate 57 exit ramp to Illinois Route 15 at Exit 95 in Jefferson County will close beginning at 5 a.m. Monday.
Motorists will be directed to use Exit 94 and follow the posted detour route.
IDOT says the ramp is expected to remain closed through October 31st as work continues on the interchange project.
Drivers are encouraged to allow additional travel time, use alternate routes when possible and pay close attention to construction signs and changing traffic patterns in the area.
