Frontier Community College will host its Fall Fan Fest this Saturday at FNB Field in Fairfield as the Bobcats baseball team takes on Shawnee College.
First pitch is scheduled for 1 p.m., with pregame festivities beginning at 11:20 a.m.
The family-friendly event will give young baseball fans an opportunity to interact with Bobcat players. Children can watch batting practice from a special roped-off area on the field, run the bases and play catch with a member of the team.
Porkburgers will be available, along with a 50/50 raffle.
Those attending are also encouraged to make donations to Feeding Kids of Wayne County to help support local children in need.
The event offers an opportunity for the community to meet the Bobcats, enjoy an afternoon of baseball and support a local charitable organization.
