Edwards County 4-H will offer a series of watercolor art classes for children ages 6 through 13 during November in Albion.
Classes will be held on Mondays, November 2nd, 9th, 16th and 23rd, with sessions scheduled from 10 to 11:30 a.m. and 3:30 to 5 p.m. at 320 Cedar Hills Street in Albion.
Rodger Minatra will serve as the instructor for the hands-on classes.
Students will learn the basics of watercolor painting, including how to use and care for supplies, color mixing and the color wheel, different brush techniques, washes, textures and painting simple subjects.
Participants will also complete step-by-step projects designed to build confidence and creativity.
The cost is $130 per student, with materials included in the course fee.
