Internationally recognized keynote speaker, business strategist and bestselling author Scott McKain will be the featured speaker at the Illinois Farm Bureau’s Annual Meeting in December.
This year’s meeting, themed “Farming for the Next Generation,” will take place December 12 through 15 at the Hyatt Regency in Chicago.
McKain is scheduled to deliver his keynote address Saturday evening, December 12, followed by the Illinois Farm Bureau president’s address Sunday morning.
With more than 30 years of experience, McKain has delivered over 2,000 keynote presentations worldwide, focusing on leadership, customer experience and helping businesses stand out in competitive markets.
He is the author of several business books, including Create Distinction, ICONIC, The Ultimate Customer Experience and Beyond Distinction.
The annual meeting will also feature more than a dozen educational micro talks on December 12 and 13, bringing agricultural experts and Farm Bureau members together to discuss important industry topics.
Other activities include charitable auctions, an ice cream fundraiser, Young Leader Discussion Meets and awards presentations.
The IAA Foundation is currently seeking donations for its annual fundraising auctions, which support the organization’s charitable programs.
Foundation Director Susan Moore says donations from Farm Bureau members and local businesses help make the fundraising efforts successful.
