Fairfield Community High School will honor local veterans with a special Veterans Day program on Tuesday, November 10, beginning at 9:45 a.m. in the school’s East Gym.
The program will begin with the presentation of colors by the local Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), followed by the FCHS Show Choir performing the National Anthem and leading the Pledge of Allegiance.
The FCHS Band will then perform a patriotic musical selection.
The featured guest speaker for the morning’s ceremony will be Jeff Cagle, who will address those in attendance as part of the school’s tribute to veterans and their service to the nation.
The program will conclude with members of the FCHS Band performing “Taps.”
School officials extend an invitation to all area veterans and members of the community to attend the program as Fairfield Community High School recognizes and honors those who have served in the United States Armed Forces.
