The Western Wayne Water District has announced that the boil water order issued Thursday, October 29, for a portion of its service area near Keenes has been lifted.

The order had affected customers along County Highway 13, beginning at 1087 County Highway 13, north of the Mennonite Church, and extending south to 1005 County Highway 13, near the former Henson Store in Keenes.

Water district officials have confirmed that the boil order is no longer in effect, and customers in the affected area may resume normal water usage without boiling their water beforehand.
