FAIRFIELD MEMORIAL HOSPITAL FOUNDATION INVITES PATIENTS TO HONOR HEALTHCARE HEROES THROUGH GUARDIAN HERO PROGRAM

By Mark Wells Oct 31, 2026 | 6:44 AM

The Fairfield Memorial Hospital Foundation is encouraging patients and their families to recognize hospital employees who have made a difference in their lives through its Guardian Hero Program.

The program provides an opportunity for grateful patients and community members to honor individuals at Fairfield Memorial Hospital who have demonstrated exceptional care, compassion, and service.

Through the program, individuals can make a monetary donation of $25 or more to the Fairfield Memorial Hospital Foundation and nominate a hospital employee or other individual at the hospital as their Guardian Hero.

The initiative is designed to provide a meaningful way for patients and families to express appreciation to those who go above and beyond in providing care and support.

Donations made through the Guardian Hero Program are confidential and are used where they are needed most, unless the donor specifies a particular program to support.

Foundation officials say contributions help support the organization’s ongoing mission of serving Fairfield Memorial Hospital, its patients, and the surrounding community.

The program also gives individuals an opportunity to recognize the positive impact healthcare professionals and hospital staff have on patients and their families.

Anyone interested in participating can make a donation of at least $25 and identify the person they wish to honor for exceptional service.
