>>Bears Blow Out Seahawks To End Week Eight

(Undated) — The Bears blew out the Seahawks 34-17 on Monday Night Football from Seattle to wrap up Week Eight. The Lions pulled off the biggest win of the weekend after delivering the Vikings their first loss of the season. Detroit now trails Minnesota by one game for the top spot in the NFC North. Elsewhere, the Steelers are now leading the AFC North after beating the Browns, and the Broncos held off the Chiefs with a last second stand at the goal line to overtake first place in the AFC West.

>>Packers Sticking With Josh Jacobs

(Green Bay, WI) — The Packers are standing behind their top running back. Head coach Matt LaFleur said Monday that they will allow the NFL to do its process amid additional allegations of Josh Jacobs’ physical and verbal abuse against multiple women. LaFleur also said that he anticipates Jacobs remaining with the team moving forward. In a statement released on Sunday, Jacobs’ attorney’s said the previous claims are “unsupported and stale allegations.”

>>Vikings Uncertain Of Kyler Murray’s Status

(Eagan, MN) — The Vikings could be without their starting quarterback for Week Nine. Head coach Kevin O’Connell said Monday that the team is uncertain if Kyler Murray will be available for Minnesota’s battle against the Buffalo Bills after dealing with hamstring soreness. Murray was evaluated on Monday, and additional updates are expected from the medical staff during the early part of the week. Carson Wentz would start under center if Murray is unavailable.

>>Glenn: Jets Not Trading Breece Hall

(Florham Park, NJ) — New York Jets head coach Aaron Glenn is trying to shut down trade rumors around running back Breece Hall. Glenn said that Hall won’t be traded before next Tuesday’s deadline, calling the 25-year-old one of the team’s better players. Hall has been out of Gang Green’s lineup for the past five weeks with a quad injury, allowing Braelon Allen to break out with 100-plus yards in each of those games.

>>Daniel Jones To Remain Colts’ QB-1

(Indianapolis, IN) — Daniel Jones will continue to be the Indianapolis Colts’ starting quarterback. Head coach Shane Steichen said that Jones will be under center this Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys after not committing to a starter after yesterday’s loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. Jones is currently suffering through one of the worst seasons of his career as Indy sits at 2-and-6.

>>Saints Fire Run Game Coordinator

(Metairie, LA) — The New Orleans Saints are emerging from their bye week with a change on their coaching staff. Run game coordinator TJ Paganetti has been fired after the team rushed for just 18 yards on 17 attempts in their Week Seven loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers from Paris. It’s the first major change made by head coach Kellen Moore in his nearly one-and-a-half seasons on the job. New Orleans hosts the Cleveland Browns this Sunday.

>>Baker, Bochy, Pinella Headline HOF Ballot

(Cooperstown, NY) — Some of modern baseball’s top managers are up for election to the Hall of Fame. The hall’s contemporary era ballot for managers, executives and umpires is headlined by longtime skippers Dusty Baker, Bruce Bochy and Lou Piniella. All three have World Series titles under their belts, along with retired skipper Joe Maddon. The vote will be taken next month at Major League Baseball’s winter meetings.
