A Benton man was arrested early Sunday morning on a methamphetamine possession charge, according to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Department.
33-year-old Jonathan L. Downen of Benton was arrested at approximately 2:53 a.m. Sunday by the Wayne County Sheriff’s Department.
Downen was taken to the Wayne County Jail and booked on a charge of possession of methamphetamine.
Downen was being held at the Wayne County Jail pending a court appearance.
