The Wayne County Farm Bureau Foundation is proud to share the bounty from the recently held Wayne County Farm to Table event. Recently, Foundation leaders presented $1,000 donations to the FFA Chapters at Cisne High School, Fairfield High School, and Wayne City High School. Additional donations to the Wayne County 4-H and Wayne County Ag in the Classroom program will be announced soon.
The Wayne County Farm to Table Dinner was held on September 15. The event featured an outdoor prime rib and chicken dinner, catered by The Fairfield Elks. Over 160 people attended the dinner, raising funds for agricultural education in Wayne County.
Additional funds raised from the event will support 2027 collegiate scholarships awarded by the Wayne County Farm Bureau Foundation. The Foundation plans to award $10,000 in scholarships in 2027. Applications for the scholarships will be available in January.
