Why Live Weather Data Isn’t Available for Fairfield

You may be wondering why when you visit the national weather service page or watch on television, the current temperature information for the City of Fairfield is unavailable, During Tuesday’s Fairfield City Council Meeting, Travis Williams, the manager of the Fairfield Airport during the council meeting mentioned that the weather system at the airport in a recent storm took a lightning strike. Williams says that he is working on documentation from the state, who takes care of the system, so he can submit an insurance claim. Williams says that the parts to fix the weather system is in the neighborhood of $6,000. The parts, according to Williams, are not kept in stock.
