The FCHS Board of Education met Monday evening in special session.
In personnel matters, Peyton Bates was hired as a Social Science Instructor for the 2024-2025 school year. Bates is from Sesser, IL and will graduate from Greenville College.
The FCHS board also Graduation was set for Saturday, May 11 at 5:00 pm. The ceremony is scheduled to be held on the football field, but in the event of bad weather, the ceremony will be moved to Center Street Grade School.
Earlier on the agenda, there was a report that a Principal would be discussed on being hired at this meeting, but officials say they are holding off until the regular meeting for that announcement
