Wayne County Emergency Management is reporting an earthquake took place in Southern Illinojs on Tuesday. The quake happened at 10:34 AM with the epicenter 3.7 miles east of Pinkneyville in Perry County. The preliminary magnitude of the quake was 2.5 on the Richter Scale. So far, no damage has been reported.
