A Mt. Vernon, IL man has been charged with reckless homicide after police say he hit a man with his pickup truck this past Tuesday following a dispute in a Mt. Vernon alley. The incident led to the death of the man from his injuries.
Reports said Robert A. Lewis was ordered detained in the Jefferson County Jail after the court found he was a likely threat to the community.
