Gov. Pritzker Heads to Hollywood to Pitch IL Film Industry

Governor J.B. Pritzker has headed westward on an economic development trip. The governor left Illinois yesterday to fly to California to meet with business and film industry leaders about the filmmaking opportunities Illinois has to offer. Pritzker points to locations and the state’s film industry tax credits as advantages for filming in the state. Pritzker’s group will head for San Francisco first to pitch manufacturing resources before heading for Los Angeles.
