A Few Fairfield FFA members competed at the State FFA Awards Day on Saturday in Mt. Zion. Lainie Clark placed 3rd in Agriscience Integrated Systems with her multi-year projects in agriscience research, Jacob Combs placed 3rd in Wildlife Management with his quail and chucker enterprise and Ryan Vaughan placed 3rd in Service Learning with his projects working with Trail Life. Students advanced to state awards day by winning at the section and district proficiency awards to qualify for state which is limited to the top five FFA members in Illinois.
