Illinois State Police Troop 9 responded to a report of a crash involving a truck-tractor semi-trailer and passenger vehicle on I-64 eastbound near milepost 130 in White County at approximately 2:47 this (Friday) morning. Both the semi and passenger vehicle ended up blocking the eastbound lanes. A bridge was damaged in the crash. No injuries were reported. A secondary crash occurred when an SUV struck debris from the first crash. No injuries were reported from this incident.
The eastbound lanes were shut down until approximately 7:46 this (Friday) morning while Illinois Department of Transportation inspected the damaged bridge.
