Edwards County 4H Dog Show Results From Tuesday At The Edwards County Fairgrounds

The Edwards County 4-H Dog Show was held Tuesday evening at the Edwards County Fairgrounds as part of the Edwards County Fair.

In the Dog Care portion,  Alyssa Smith was named the Dog Care Champion. She was awarded a banner donated by Judge Jerry Crisel. Kaysen Kelsey was the Reserve Dog Care Champion.

In the Obedience portion, Easton Garrett was named Beginning Novice I Champion and received the Albion Chamber of Commerce banner.

Lucy Harrison received the Beginning Novice I Reserve Champion ribbon.

In the Beginning Novice 2 class, Sam Bogle won the Champion banner donated by The First National Bank of West Salem.

Kwade Sawyer received the Beginning Novice 2 Reserve Champion ribbon.

Alyssa Smith was named Preferred Novice Champion and received a banner donated by Albion Moose Family Center #621.

Kaysen Kelsey received the Reserve Champion ribbon for Preferred Novice.

The Novice Champion banner donated by Lyndle and Charlotte Barnes was awarded to Kwade Sawyer.

 

The Edwards County 4-H Poultry Show will be held tomorrow night (Thursday) at 5:30pm with the Equine Show Friday night at 6pm.

 

Saturday, a full day is scheduled with the 4th annual Fair Fest on the square in Albion with the car, truck, and tractor show at 8 AM, followed by food vendors, crafters, and direct sales starting at 9 AM. Edwards County Fair Parade at 10AM,  A touch-a-tractor event for kids will run from 9 AM to 12 noon, Balloons by Kim, bounce houses, and family game booths will be open from 11 AM to 1 PM, with the Fair Queen Pageant starting at 3 PM.  Sunday, July 28th, the Rabbit Show is at 2PM. and the Flag  Raising  Ceremony at 7PM.  The Edwards County Fair runs thru August 3rd.
