The Edwards County 4-H Swine & Goat Shows was held Tuesday at the Edwards County Fairgrounds.
Grand Champion Overall Barrow went to Emerie Moore, Stumpy Hill Farm, donated the banner.
Aly Williams had the Reserve Champion Overall Barrow. Aly Williams showed the Grand Champion Crossbred Gilt, Citizens National Bank of Albion, donated the Grand Champion banner. The Reserve Grand Champion, for Crossbred Gilts was shown by Ryleigh Moore.
In the Crossbred Gilt division, the following exhibitors showed the Champion and Reserve by weight classes: Emerie Moore Champion Heavy Weight and Cheyenne Duncan Reserve Champion Heavy Weight; Aly Williams Champion Middle Heavy Weight and Justin Bunting Reserve Champion Middle Heavy Weight; Sydney Williams Champion Middle Weight and Evalynn Edwards Reserve Middle Weight; Ryleigh Moore Champion Light Weight Gilt and Justin Bunting Reserve Champion Light Weight.
In the market barrow division, the following exhibitors showed the Champion and Reserve by weight classes: Champions heaviest to lightest: Brayden Childers, Emerie Moore, Ryleigh Moore, Landon Loyd, and Adelynn Vallette. Reserve Champions heaviest to lightest: Cheyenne Duncan, Justin Bunting, Zoie Ankenbrand, and Kamryn Trowbridge.
In the showmanship division, Aly Williams earned the Senior Showmanship belt buckle donated by the Thompson family, in Memory of Ed Thompson, Sydney Williams won the Junior Showmanship trophy donated by Edward Jones Investments – Brian T. Mewes, Investment Representative, and Evalynn Edwards won the Novice belt buckle donated by Sheila Markman, Edwards County Supervisor of Assessments.
Goat Show Results:
In the Dairy Goat division, Parker Biggs showed the Grand Champion Dairy Female. She received a banner donated by the Edwards County Ag in the Classroom. Kamryn Trowbridge showed the Reserve Grand Champion Dairy Female.
In the Meat Goat division, JW Simms-Reisner showed the Grand Champion Meat Female and Lucas Troyer showed the Reserve Grand Champion Meat Female. JW received the banner donated by JTK Services Inc.
The Grand Champion Market Goat was shown by Ellie Troyer who received a banner donated by Sydenstricker Nobbe Partners. The Reserve Grand Champion Market Goat was shown by Brayden Childers.
In the Showmanship division, the Senior Showmanship Belt Buckle donated by Terry Mewes and Ashley Craig was awarded to JW Simms-Reisner. Bristol Duncan won the Junior Showmanship Belt Buckle donated by Ingram/Meridith Funeral Home. In the Novice Class, Ellie Troyer won the belt buckle donated by the City of Albion.
