The Ford Town Fun Fest kicks off this Friday in Flora, with some exciting changes this year. The festival will now be held in front of the Flora Public Library, and food trucks will be stationed on East 2nd Street.
The festivities begin Friday evening with a Cruise-In from 5 to 8 p.m., welcoming all makes and models of cars. Join us for a family night cookout featuring grilled hot dogs, chips, and drinks for just $5. Andrew’s Family Magic will enchant audiences with a performance at the library park gazebo at 7 p.m., and you can also enjoy popcorn and cookies from Crystal Luttrell.
On Saturday, the Clay County Cruisers will host their Car Show, with registration open from 9 a.m. to noon. The entry fee is $15, and there will be awards for the top 75 vehicles plus five specialty awards. Dash plaques will be given to the first 100 entrants.
