The Fairfield City Council is set to meet Tuesday evening at Fairfield City Hall. Items on the agenda include; the recognition of a retired police officer, proclamation for “Dolly Parton Imagination Library Day”, approval for airfield pavement maintenance & pavement markings project at the Fairfield airport, award bid for street maintenance project, ordinance to create an agreement in regards to reimbursement of police officer or firefighter training, certification & equipment costs, the hiring of a police officer and an update on the watershed program at Lakeside Park. The meeting begins at 6pm and is open to the public.
