Arthur “AJ” Hutcheson, 34, of Tolono, IL, died at 2:35pm on Wednesday, July 12, 2023, in Champaign County, IL. He had most recently worked at FedEx in Champaign, loading trucks.
AJ was born on February 9, 1989, in Fairfield, IL, to Charles Hutcheson and Regina (Betts) York.
Survivors include his mother Regina York of Tolono, IL, his father Charles (Linda) Hutcheson of Flora, IL, his step-father Chris (Tammy) York of Tolono, IL, grandparents Marsha Belangee of Albion, Sonny and Katy Auvil of Flora, and Connie and Bill York of Arcola, IL, a daughter Zsophie York, a brother Alex York (Samantha Wells) both of Tolono, IL, two sisters Ashley Snell of Tolono and Lydia (Travis) Bawter of Springtown, TX, two nieces Cadance Eckelberry and Kaylyn Snell, and a nephew Slade Hutcheson, along with several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Ed and Bernita Hutcheson.
As per AJ’s wishes, his body has been cremated. A memorial service will be held at 2pm on Saturday, July 22nd at the Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home in Fairfield, IL, with no formal burial. Vistation will be from 1pm until the time of service at the funeral home. Memorial donations can be made to the Zsophie York college fund and will be accepted at the Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home which is in charge of arrangements.
