Blue Point Church will host a benefit dinner and silent auction on Saturday, July 26th from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., in support of Joseph and Katie Matthews.
Joseph was recently diagnosed with a rare form of cancer and is currently undergoing treatment. The event is being held to help the couple with mounting medical expenses and travel costs.
Guests are invited to enjoy a spaghetti dinner, which includes salad, garlic bread, and dessert. Meals are available for dine-in or carry-out and will be provided by donation.
A silent auction will also take place, with bidding set to close at 6:30 p.m. Organizers encourage attendees to watch for announcements regarding auction items.
The benefit will be held at Blue Point Church, located at 1147 County Road 1975N, Cisne, IL 62823.
