FLORA ROTARY TO HOST 11TH ANNUAL SHADOWS OF ELMWOOD CEMETERY TOUR

The Flora Rotary Club will present the 11th annual Shadows of Elmwood Cemetery Tour on Friday and Saturday, September 12th & 13th beginning at 5 p.m. Ticket sales continue until 9 p.m., and tours will run until the last ticketholder has gone through.
Tickets are $8 and may be purchased at the Flora Depot, where guests will line up. While waiting, visitors can enjoy two skits before boarding a hay wagon bound for Elmwood Cemetery. There, guests will experience eight live skits written and performed by local volunteers, telling stories of Flora’s past citizens.
A limited number of Benefactor Tickets are available for $25, which allow guests to move to the front of the line. For those unable to ride the hay wagon, two six-passenger golf carts will be available for $8 per person.
Concessions will also be available at the Flora Depot.
The Shadows of Elmwood event is the Rotary Club’s largest fundraiser of the year, with proceeds supporting local projects such as improvements to Rotary Park and a new bathroom at the pickleball court.
