CLAY CITY/SAILOR SPRINGS AMERICAN LEGION TO HOST ANNUAL MEAT SHOOT NOVEMBER 1ST

The Clay City/Sailor Springs American Legion Post #230 will host its annual Meat Shoot on Saturday, November 1st.
The shoot begins at 10 a.m., but the day kicks off early with breakfast served from 7 to 10 a.m. Lunch will follow from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., featuring a menu of vegetable soup, chili, sloppy joes, hot dogs, and drinks.
Alongside the shoot, the Legion will hold a raffle offering cash and firearm prizes. Winners include:
1st Prize: Henry Single Shot 360 Buckhammer or $420
2nd Prize: Smith & Wesson MP Shield 380 EZ or $400
3rd Prize: Henry .22 Classic S/L/LR or $300
4th Prize: $75 cash
5th Prize: $50 cash
Raffle tickets are available for $10 each or three for $25. The drawing will be held November 1st, and participants do not need to be present to win.
Organizers note that all participants must be at least 21 years old and hold a valid FOID card.
The annual event serves as a fundraiser for the American Legion.
