COUNTRY LEGEND DOTTSY DWYER TO KICK OFF WABASH VALLEY ARTS COUNCIL SERIES IN ALB

Country music fans are in for a treat as Texas native and country legend Dottsy Dwyer brings her signature sound to Albion. Dottsy, known for timeless hits like “I’ll Be Your San Antone Rose,” “Storms Never Last,” and “(After Sweet Memories) Play Born to Lose Again,” will perform at the Edwards County Fairgrounds Exhibition Hall on Sunday, September 28, at 2 p.m.

The concert marks the opening of the 2025-26 Performing Arts Series, a collaboration between the Wabash Valley Arts Council and Wabash Valley College. Dottsy’s appearance is part of her Midwest tour, bringing classic country music to new and longtime fans alike.

Joining Dottsy on stage will be renowned Southern Indiana pedal steel guitarist Bud Hall, as well as members of Albion’s own Stroughmatt family. The local lineup includes Wabash Valley College Theater Director Dennis Stroughmatt on fiddle, Raegan Stroughmatt on drums, and Arielle Stroughmatt on fiddle.
