A festive event to support local students is coming up next month. The “Catch Us If You Can Gingerbread Run” will take place on Saturday, December 6th at Northside Grade School in Fairfield..

The holiday-themed run invites the community to spread cheer while supporting education. Proceeds from the event will benefit Beta Club activities at Center Street School and impact students in the area.

Registration begins at 8 a.m., followed by the Fun Run at 8:30 a.m. and the 5K walk/run and 10K run at 9 a.m. Participants can register online at https://https://runsignup.com/Race/IL/Fairfield/BetaClubRace25 or by picking up and dropping off registration forms at Center Street School.

Entry fees are $10 for the Fun Run and $25 for the 5K or 10K races. Event shirts are available for an additional $5 with registration.
